Hey my name is Claudia, I am a photographer in the West end of Toronto but I travel all across the GTA, and I hope one day the world. I picked up my first camera when I was 10, I just felt drawn to it...it called me. Since then my calling has just gotten louder and clearer. This is what I love to do, this is how I express all the exquisite things I see within the human experience. How beautiful everyone is, and how we're all so different but all connected by the same source of love. When I shoot I'm happiest, maybe even the freest. I like to photograph people just being who they are, maybe a bit more polished ;) but nonetheless more themselves. When I shoot with a family (or anyone) I enjoy connecting. It's as if you are hanging out but also getting your picture taken, you can take it easy and there is no pressure. My advice during a family session is to just have fun with your kid and connect with them like you do when you're out having a good time. The smiles will come, and if they don't that's also okay. We can always reshoot! One of the best parts of my job is getting to connect with people and build relationships with them, how crazy is it that I've photographed some kids since they were born? I think that's pretty special. I don't think I could do anything else but this.
